INSPIRATION EDUCATION ACCESS

Nebula organizes its nonprofit programs into three connected tracks: Nebula Academy (instruction), Nebula Lab (guided practice), and Nebula Pop-Ups (public-facing installations). Programs are founder-led with volunteer support, primarily in Austin, Texas and partner venues.

Programs

Each bucket supports a single feedback loop: teach foundational skills, reinforce with supervised practice, and pressure-test methods in real public art environments.

Nebula Academy

Structured workshops, classes, and school-partner programs in drone design, projection mapping, coding, and lighting.

Audience: ages 11+ (track-dependent)

Nebula Lab

Scheduled supervised open-lab sessions for enrolled learners and alumni, focused on guided iteration and confidence building.

Nebula Pop-Ups

Temporary installations and event experiences that serve communities while generating practical lessons for curriculum and operations.

Burning Man 2024

The first full Nebula team project: DIY.

This project featured home-made PVC-pipe pyramids outfitted with LED strips.

Custom Flare software communicated wirelessly with 20 different battery-powered devices. The entire space united through drone performance.
